Colorado is one of the best states for camping, there are hundreds of locations for RV stays all over with amazing views and fresh air. If you are looking for a vacation spot to take your RV, check out our top 5 picks for the best RV parks and resorts in Colorado.

1. Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park

The Yogi Bear Campground and resort is the perfect spot for a family getaway, on average each RV site is $72 a night but the perks of the park are worth it. Here you can find activities that fit all types of weather, the resort is open year-round and is busiest on Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day weekend, and 4th of July. In the summer heat, you can find outdoor activities including two pools, a hot tub, a waterpark, a miniature golf course, a jump-pad, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, as well as their pan mining and community fire pits. During the colder seasons, most of these activities stay closed, however, the park has an indoor full-sized gym, bowling, event center, and more.

2. Garden of the Gods RV Resort

This resort offers full hookups to your RV. It has various amenities including free wifi, heated pools, an on-site convenience store, and various activities for the kids including a game room, arcade, and a playground. Asides from all the benefits inside the resort, there are multiple scenic areas to visit like the Garden of the Gods and Red Rock Canyon Open Space. Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City are also in the area, if by any chance you want to leave for a day, these two small towns are right next to the resort. Both Manitou and Old Colorado City have fun touristy activities including restaurants, shops, parks, and unique activities for the whole family to enjoy.

3. Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort

About an hour away from Colorado Springs is this beautiful resort, for just over $60 a night you can enjoy mountain views in your home away from home. Reservations are highly recommended to make sure you have a spot and cabin rentals range from $80-$140 per night. The perks of the resort include privacy in each site and cabin, a recreation room free of use with tv and games, full-sized bathrooms including showers, and it is pet friendly and even has a dog park.

4. Pikes Peak RV Park

As you are driving up to Manitou Springs on the right is Pikes Peak RV Park, located just by a creek and close to the little town of Manitou there is much to do here. Pricing per site per night ranges from $85-$95 depending on what amp you need. Just a 15-minute walk from your RV site is Manitou where you can enjoy amazing restaurants, an outdoor arcade, parks, shops, and entertainment for everyone. Close by Manitou is Cave of the Winds and the historic Manitou Cliff Dwellings which are both worth checking out.

5. Rocky Top Mountain

Last but certainly not least is Rocky Top Mountain Campground, located in Green Mountain Falls. This campground is the perfect quiet getaway just outside Colorado Springs. They are open year-round and welcome all types of campers. Aside from the views, the bonuses of your stay are worthwhile. They provide clean and well-kept facilities including restrooms, showers, laundry rooms, picnic areas, a nearby convenience store, and much more.
